These little colorful glass incense burners can be used to burn incense cones and resin incense over charcoal. The mesh screen is removable and can be used on both sides.
Burning incense cones
To use with incense cones, simply place a lit incense cone onto the mesh screen (we prefer to flip the lid so that it is concave and creates a bowl-like shape). As the cone burns, the ash collects into the glass base.
Burning resin incense and charcoal
You can use this incense burner to heat and ready your charcoal for transfer into another burner (such as one of our soapstone burners), or you can burn your resin incense directly on the charcoal using this burner. Since the charcoal becomes very hot, we recommend placing ash, sand or rocks into the base of the burner to buffer and reduce the transfer of heat, then placing the burner onto a ceramic coaster to protect the counter top, as the base may get hot. Light the charcoal tablet and place it on the mesh screen (we prefer to flip the lid so that it is concave and creates a bowl-like shape). Once the charcoal is ready, either carefully transfer it to another burner using tongs, or place small amounts of resin incense directly onto the charcoal.
Caution
Charcoal and the incense burner will get hot. Use caution when handling.
