How to Burn Resin Incense
Burning Incense Sticks:
Flip the lid over and rest it onto the base of the burner. Insert incense stick into the hole of the lid. If incense stick does not fit securely in the hole of the lid, fold the base of the incense stick in half (thus doubling up the thickness of the stick) and insert into hole.
Burning Incense Cones:
Fill base of incense holder with sand or rocks. Place burner on ceramic coaster to protect counter top, as the base of the burner may get hot. Place lit incense cone on top of sand or rocks. Allow to burn with the lid removed. Incense will not burn with the lid in place.
Burning Resin Incense and Charcoal:
Fill base of incense holder with sand or rocks. Place burner on ceramic coaster to protect counter top, as the base of the burner may get hot. Follow instructions for lighting charcoal tablet then place on top of sand or rocks. Allow charcoal to come to temperature then place small amounts of resin onto hot charcoal. Allow to burn with the lid removed. Incense will not burn with the lid in place.

What is Soapstone?
Soapstone is natural rock and cool to the touch and some consider it to be therapeutic. Soapstone is unique, and often no two pieces are exactly alike, the color may vary slightly from item to item, and from the picture. Soapstone is created by nature, composed of talc, quartz and various minerals that has compressed over millions of years. Soapstone has many properties that make it desirable for carving, including its softness, which makes it easy to work with. Soapstone is also resistant to heat, making it a good choice for fireplaces, wood stoves, and cookware.
